This licence explains what you may do with a template you bought from Spil Templates ([Company name]). It is part of our Terms & Conditions.

What you get

When you buy a template, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use that template on one website. We keep the copyright and all other rights to the template.

You may

  • use the template on one website, either your own or a website you build for a client;
  • customize and change the template to fit your project;
  • use the finished website commercially.

You may not

  • resell, redistribute, share or publish the template files, with or without changes;
  • include the template in a template kit, library, marketplace or bundle;
  • use the same purchase on more than one website;
  • present the template as your own work to sell or distribute it.

Client websites and multiple sites

If you build a website for a client, that website counts as the one site covered by your purchase. If you want to use a template on several websites, buy one template for each website.

Exclusive drops

An exclusive drop is sold once. After it is sold, we remove it from our library and we do not sell the same template to anyone else. The same licence rules apply to an exclusive drop, unless the product page states otherwise.

Images, fonts and other assets

Images, fonts or other assets included with a template may have their own licences. Where this applies, it is stated on the product page. Placeholder images are only meant for demonstration and should be replaced with your own.

Updates

Updates for the template you bought are included. [State here for how long updates are provided, for example “for as long as the template is available”.]

If the licence is broken

If you break these terms, your licence can end. We may then ask you to stop using the template and remove it from the websites concerned.
